At last! I have got a new addition to the family - Country Cottage Stool! I have had this stool lying around the house for years so I decided to try out a new style on it and am pleased with the results. I painted it with a water based almond colour paint and then gently began to distress it to reveal the wood below. After this I got some upholstery foam, cut it to shape and covered it with some sandy cotton material and added a nail trim. As this is my first time distressing furniture I would love to know what you all think?!
